Savannah Shopping

Cool Stuff in a Hot Town

A Savannah Shopping outing can be a tour of all that is wonderful and unique about our fair city.

The Historic District's commercial and social center, City Market is still thriving after 300 years in the same location.

Savannah Shopping on River Street

Both City Market and River Street offer an eclectic blend of the past and present for locals and tourists alike.

The galleries offer up original art and in some shops you can watch an artist in the middle of his latest creation.

Please say "hi" to Reds Helmey if he is sitting outside Meinhardt Vineyard signing books. You might want to pick up his memoir, "The Lemon Dance", before they make a movie out of it! Listening to Reds is a real treat straight from the mouth of a local writer.

Nourish on Broughton Street

Broughton Street is the main street of old Savannah rich with shopping, eating, hotels and a vibrant nightlife.

From established brands like the Gap to unique local boutiques like the Savannah Bee Company and Nourish, Broughton Street is the busy stream where trendy commerce flows. One of Tami's favorite shops is Earthbound Trading Company

Savannah's Squares also boast great shopping finds, from the 'Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil Shop' to one of Jeff's go-to-places for anything kitchen or cooking related, Kitchens On The Square.

Inside Kitchens on the square

Savannah, like most towns, offers up an array of antique shops.

Whether you're into that sort of thing or not, check out the Universe Trading Company on Franklin Square. It has to be our favorite funky find.

Scattered throughout Savannah, and on the way to Tybee Island, you will find quaint shops supporting the local economy and spicing up your collection of cool stuff to take back home.
