The House on Abercorn

In January, I visited (vibe-guide webhosts) Jeff and Tami for a couple of days at their Savannah rental home. Over Jeff’s delicious dinner, they shared some of their paranormal experiences with me, and showed me a couple of photos they had taken upstairs in which white orbs appeared floating above their heads.

Later that night, we went for a stroll around the historic district. I joked that I wanted to take my own orb photos.

We wandered all around; past the Revolutionary era cemetery, the Mercer House, into Forsyth Park and past the lovely shops on Bull Street, the “Forrest Gump” bench area, and all the while I took photos. They pointed out a dark house adjacent to the Massey School on Abercorn Street in Calhoun Square, and told me the legend of the sad little girl who died there in the 1800s, and all of the tragedy that has happened there since.

This house, purportedly so haunted that the owners won’t even sell or lease the place anymore. Of course I had to have some photos of that! But I didn’t have a tripod, and none of the photos really turned out so great. All were fuzzy or too dark.

…but I took more the next afternoon…..

When I got home and uploaded the photos, I noticed an unusual purple spot on the side of a building. When I zoomed in – well it sure looked like an orb! I checked the image on the camera to be sure it wasn’t something odd that happened during the upload, and it was there. I sent it straightaway to Tami, who pointed out, “that’s that haunted place by the school!”

Wow! Be careful what you wish for…you just might get it!
